Amsdell/Compass Self Storage Opens Facility in Grand Prairie, TX

Compass Self Storage LLC, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, has built and opened a new facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. The property at 4330 S. State Highway 360 comprises more than 82,000 net rentable square feet of storage space and 9,800 square feet of storefront retail space. It’s the third storage facility built and opened by the company in 2014. Compass also acquired nine storage facilities last year.

The Grand Prairie facility offers climate control, drive-up units, video cameras, electronic access, and a full line of moving and packing supplies. It will also offer truck rentals, according to a company press release.

Headquartered in Cleveland, the Amsdell Cos. draws its roots from the family-owned construction company founded in 1928.
