The facility will comprise one three-story building and three single-story buildings, with an expected project cost of about $6.95 million, according to the source. No timeline for the development was reported.
The asset will be the 12th Ample location in Raleigh. The property is near the Triangle Town Center shopping plaza.
Ample has secured permits for all four buildings. The three-story structure will comprise 67,800 square feet at a cost of $5 million. The single-story structures range from 8,400 to 23,925 square feet. The latter will cost approximately $957,000 to build, according to the source.
Lynndale Inc. will serve as general contractor. Founded in 1994, the company specializes in commercial projects.
Ample has 63 self-storage facilities in its portfolio, including more than 50 in North Carolina. Its portfolio includes facilities which operate under the American Flag Storage brand.
