Westy Self Storage of Norwood, N.J., has donated the use of a storage unit to the Norwood Public School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) to house items for its fundraiser today, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, N.J. The annual event, called Fashion’s Night Out, has raised thousands of dollars over the past decade, according to the source. The funds are used to provide art, science and technology materials and programs for students.
The event includes a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, fashion show and silent auction. The cost is $65, with additional raffle tickets available for purchase.
"Again this year Westy has provided a generous donation of space, solving a major problem for us. Each year so many wonderful items are donated for our fundraising event, and secure storage is invaluable to us," said Sally Seidenfrau, co-chair of the event.
"We are pleased to assist the Norwood Public School PTO as we value the importance of education," said Tim Mincin, district director of Westy Self Storage of Norwood. "We welcome the opportunity to support our local communities."
Founded in 1990, Westy Self Storage is headquartered in Stamford, Conn. It operates four facilities in Connecticut, three in New Jersey and seven in New York.
