Sentry Self Storage of Miami Celebrates $1M Renovation and Grand Re-Opening

Sentry Self Storage at 3300 N.E. Second Ave. in Miami recently celebrated the completion of a $1 million renovation to the facility with a grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting event. Guests enjoyed appetizers from Sakaya Kitchens Dim Ssam a Gogo food cart and music by salsa jazz band Cachi. They also witnessed the cracking of an antique safe, which ultimately revealed nothing inside.

The 58,000-square-foot Sentry facility offers more than 660 units is operated by a joint venture between Sentry Self Storage Management and Rosemurgy Properties.

During the event, the owners announced the donation of a $5,000 scholarship to benefit the Miami International University of Art & Design. A summer class of students will design and produce three murals on the east wall of Sentry Self Storage to further the beautification of the Miami midtown area.

Sentry Self Storage Management was founded in 1997. The company manages more than 30 facilities throughout Florida, Georgia, Indiana and Texas.
