Self-Storage Operator Hide-Away Supports Charity for At-Risk Moms

Hide-Away Storage, which operates 10 Florida self-storage facilities, donated rental space this summer to Solve Maternity Homes, which offers cost-free maternity housing and support for at-risk women during and after pregnancy. The organization used the units to store goods for its July 6 and 7 rummage sale, according to a press release.

“We are so grateful for Hide-Away giving us two storage units for our big rummage sale,” said Judy Scott, a member of the Solve board of directors. The event at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida, raised $12,500, which was $2,000 more than the previous year. The money will help fund the charity’s two housing programs.

Founded in 1977 by Steve Wilson and headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Hide-Away also operates two mobile-storage warehouses and provides moving services in the state.
