Self-Storage Firm IREGC Donates to Multiple Nonprofits in Celebration of Its 25th Anniversary

The Investment Real Estate Group of Cos. (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage construction and management and operates the Moove In Self Storage brand, donated to 25 nonprofits in the York, Pennsylvania, area in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The announcement was made last week by CEO John Gilliland during the grand opening of the company’s new headquarters, also in York, according to a press release.

As part of the “25 for 25” celebration, IREGC presented ceremonial checks to each charity, representing a combined $25,000 in funds. The recipients were Autism York, Braided River Collective, Crispus Attucks Black History Cultural Center, Downtown Inc., Family First Health, Farm & Natural Lands Trust of York County, The Garden Club of York, Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, Hospice & Community Care, Leadership York, Penn-Mar Human Services, Pink Power, Margaret E. Moul Home, Rotary Club of York, York County 4-H Endowment, York Academy Foundation, York County Alliance for Learning, York County Food Bank, York County History Center, York County Libraries, York County Literacy Council, York County Parks Foundation Charitable Trust, York County Rail Trail Authority, York Symphony Orchestra and York County Veterans Outreach.

“The energy of this dynamic building is a perfect fit for the company’s culture, which is guided by our core values that include being enthusiastic, engaged and compassionate,” Gilliland said. “We’re so proud to establish our permanent headquarters in such a beautiful and vibrant city and county. ‘25 for 25’ is our way of investing in the many great causes that have helped shape our community and its wonderful quality of life. As we turn to our next quarter century, we do so with excitement but also humility. So many good people have helped us along the way. That starts with our team here at IREGC. Founded in 1998, IREGC operates more than 65 self-storage facilities across New England and the mid-Atlantic. The company has more than 100 employees.
