Apex Self Storage in Warrington, England, is offering a local scout troop free use of a storage unit to store teddy bears for a charitable cause. The 33rd Warrington West Scout Group is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in honor of their former treasurer, Ann Moran, who died from cancer last year.

The group hopes to collect 1,000 stuffed animals, which will be raffled or sold, according to the source. The proceeds from the fundraising initiative will be equally split to benefit Macmillan Delamere Support and Information Service at Halton General Hospital and Warrington-area nurses.

Sally Parkin, an assistant manager at the self-storage facility, is an assistant group scout leader. Her scouts will take part in the collection and fundraising drive.

Apex Self Storage operates seven facilities in Cheadle, Cheshire, Glossop and Manchester, England.
