Amy’s Attic Self Storage of Texas Hosts ‘Spring Flavor Fest’

Amy’s Attic Self Storage, which operates nine facilities in Texas, will host its seventh annual “Spring Flavor Fest” on April 9 to benefit Hope for the Hungry, a local organization that provides meals for children and educates the community about human trafficking. The free event at 7950 State Highway 317 in Belton will feature 60 food trucks and vendors, a photo booth with Belton Bunny, family games, inflatables, and other entertainment.

Pandemic-safety measures for the event will include socially distanced vendor booths as well as handwashing and sanitation stations.

Hope for the Hungry has served the local community for about 40 years. Its “Kids Against Hunger” project provides meals to local children as well as those in Haiti and Mexico. It also supplies meals in response to natural disasters. In addition, the organization runs an after-school program and offers “basic needs” assistance to individuals, according to a press release.

Through its “Amy in the Community” program, Amy’s Attic sponsors many events and fundraisers annually. Proceeds have been donated to the Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation, Foster Love, Habitat for Humanity, Families in Crisis Inc., local schools and other charitable organizations. Founded in 2004, the company operates facilities in Belton, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Killeen, Morgan’s Point Resort, Salado, Temple and Waco, Texas.
