Access Self Storage of the UK Launches 'Most Boring Calendar Ever' to Support Cancer Research
November 21, 2024
Access Self Storage, which operates 60 facilities in the United Kingdom, has published what it refers to as “possibly the most boring calendar ever” for 2025, focused on storage spaces, to benefit a local charity. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research UK (CRUK), an independent organization that provides research and information. The goal is to raise £30,000, according to a press release.
Each month, “The Storage Unit Calendar” features a space at a different Access location. Its stars are:
January: A compact, 9-square-foot locker in Fulham
February: A 30-square-foot unit in Barking
March: A corridor of blue doors in Southampton
April: A corridor of bright-yellow doors in Portsmouth
May: 10-square-foot units with polished concrete flooring in London’s Kings Cross
June: A climate-controlled, 75-square-foot unit in Bermondsey
July: A 275-square-foot, drive-up unit in St. Albans
August: A clean, symmetrical row of units in Birmingham
September: A 250-square-foot unit with corrugated iron interior in Catford
October: A 200-square-foot, drive-up unit in Cricklewood
November: A modern hallway in Reading
December: A 700-square-foot unit in Harrow
The limited-edition calendar is available for a suggested donation of £5 at all Access locations or at the company website.
In addition to self-storage and vehicle storage, Access offers records management, and office and warehouse space at select properties.
CRUK funds research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of more than 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
