St. Albert Self Storage of Alberta, Canada, Wins Consumer-Choice Award

St. Albert Self Storage of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, received a 2019 “Business Excellence” award from Consumer Choice Award (CCA), which has recognized and promoted small and mid-sized Canadian companies for more than 30 years. The operator won in the self-storage class in the “Everyday Life” category. It’s the fourth consecutive year it has received the honor, according to the storage operator’s website.

Established in 1987, CCA uses statistically supported, independent market research to determine each candidate’s brand reputation, customer satisfaction and business excellence, according to the CCA website. The winners are identified through an in-depth consumer-evaluation process that gathers unbiased consumer opinions vetted by market-research firms Advanced Symbolics Inc., Dunn & Bradstreet Corp., Ipsos Group S.A., and Research Now/Survey Sampling International.

CCA identifies standard business categories for each region but allows for variations. Candidates must have a history of positive customer reviews and satisfaction. Anyone can nominate a business on the CCA website. Once the nominee list has been refined, market insights are integrated with survey results through a four-step ranking process to award companies “Top-Ranked Service Provider” status. Winners are spread across 16 Canadian metropolitan areas.

Locally owned and founded in 1992, St. Albert Self Storage serves the communities of Edmonton and St. Albert. It’s located in St. Albert’s Campbell Industrial Park, near CFB Edmonton, a Canadian Armed Forces base. The facility offers climate-controlled and drive-up storage units, portable storage, and vehicle storage.
