Update 3/22/16 - CubeSmart received two silver Stevie Awards and a 2016 People’s Choice Stevie Award during a ceremony on March 4 in Las Vegas. The company was honored in the “Customer Service Department of the Year” and “Contact Center of the Year” categories and chosen by consumers as “Favorite Customer Service” in the All Other Industries category, according to a press release.

This is the fourth consecutive year the REIT has received either a gold or silver Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year and the third time it’s won an award for Contact Center of the Year. Since 2013, CubeSmart has received nine gold or silver Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service in four categories.

"We are proud to be honored with these distinguished awards for a fundamental and crucial cornerstone to our business success—great customer service,” Marr said. “These awards highlight the exceptional efforts of our more than 1,900 teammates across the country who strive to simplify challenging life transitions for our customers day in and day out. We are especially honored to be recognized among such great company across the participating industries."

More than 2,100 nominations representing numerous organizations, industries and sales executives from around the world were submitted. For the choice awards, consumers cast more than 27,000 votes between Jan. 21 and Feb. 19, the release stated.

More than 500 executives from around the world attended the ceremony.

3/6/15 - CubeSmart, a self-storage real estate investment trust (REIT), received a gold “Stevie Award for Sales & Customer Service” and a “2015 People’s Choice Stevie Award” during a ceremony on Feb. 27 in Las Vegas. The company was given the top prize for “Customer Service Department of the Year” and chosen by consumers as “Favorite Customer Service” in the All Other Industries category. The annual awards honor achievement in sales, contact centers and customer service.

This is the third consecutive year CubeSmart has won the top award in the customer-service-department category. It’s the seventh gold Stevie the REIT has won. The company was honored with three gold awards in 2013 and 2014.

More than 1,900 entries representing numerous organizations, industries and sales executives from around the world were submitted. For the choice awards, consumers cast more than 51,000 votes between Jan. 22 and Feb. 13, according to a press release.
