Self-storage management and consulting firm Storage Asset Management (SAM) announced that its chief marketing officer, Melissa Stiles, has been named to the “Forty Under 40” list produced by the “Central Penn Business Journal” (CPBJ). This designation recognizes professionals 39 years of age and younger who’ve been successful in Central Pennsylvania, according to a press release.

“The 2024 ‘Forty Under 40’ are professionally successful and juggle busy lives including jobs, education and family. They understand giving back to the community is also important and make it a priority as well,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media, which publishes CPBJ. “These young leaders are inspiring change, and we at the ‘Central Penn Business Journal’ are pleased to honor them for all they have done and will continue to do in their profession, community and beyond.”

“It’s an honor to be named among such an exceptional group of professionals in CPBJ’s ‘Forty Under 40.’ I am humbled by this recognition,” Stiles said.

Stiles joined SAM in March 2014 as vice president of marketing and sales, an area in which she has 17 years of experience. She was promoted to chief marketing officer in August 2022. She received her MBA from Elizabethtown College in 2018.

The honorees will be recognized on Oct. 24 at a ceremony at the Hilton in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They’ll also be featured in a profile that’ll be published in the October 2025 issue of CPBJ and on its website.

CPBJ has been a primary source of business news and information in Central Pennsylvania for the past 40 years. In addition to breaking news on CPBJ.com, it publishes a biweekly print edition.

Founded in 2010 by Alyssa Quill and Jay Hoke, SAM manages nearly 600 self-storage facilities nationwide. It’s based in York, Pennsylvania.
