Access Self Storage of the UK Launches Business-Awards Program

Access Self Storage, which operates 60 facilities in the United Kingdom, has launched its 2024 awards program for local businesses, which is open to the public for voting. Launched in 2015, the annual contest celebrates the best small and mid-sized companies across England, recognizing their hard work, innovation and contribution to their local communities, according to a source.

The winner will be selected from a list of nine regional finalists who were selected by Access from more than 100 applicants. Votes will be collected until midnight on Nov. 17. The winner will receive the title of “Access Business of the Year” and receive a $2,500 business package, which can be spent on any of the company’s products and services, the source stated.

“We have thousands of unique small businesses that store with us at Access Self Storage, and this gives us the opportunity to reward them for their hard work,” said Jan Albert Fourie, general manager of operations. “We’ve loved reading through all the applications and learning about the business gems within our network. We look forward to growing with all the finalists and await the U.K.’s verdict on the winner.”

In addition to self-storage and vehicle storage, Access offers records management, office space and warehouse storage at select properties.
