Mobile-Storage Provider Smartbox Opens New Facility in Hillsdale, New South Wales, Australia

Australian mobile-storage provider Smartbox recently opened a 7,000-square-foot self-storage facility in Hillsdale, Sydney, to meet the growing needs of its business and residential customers in the region, company officials said. The new facility is near Port Botany, a major seaport in Sydney, and offers outdoor storage for vehicles, boats, trailers and caravans in addition to mobile storage.

Smartbox provides mobile-storage units for residential, office and commercial storage needs. The mobile unit is delivered to the customer to fill. Once filled, the company picks up the unit and stores it at its facility. Mobile-storage units can be accessed by customers at the facility seven days a week during business hours, or delivered to a specific destination.

Smartbox is also offering packing services. The Diamond service provides a combination of packaging boxes and other packing products for customers to pack up a residence or business. When the packing is complete, Smartbox team members load the boxes into the mobile-storage unit, then deliver it to the facility for storage.

The Hillsdale facility is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Smartbox serves Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney.
