Bunker Storage has opened its first self-storage facility in Wallerawang, Australia. The site opened with 100 units, which is the first of four planned development phases for the property at 37 Brays Lane. Subsequent additions will include vehicle-storage units large enough to store “earthmoving equipment,” boats and RVs, according to the source. Perimeter fencing will also be added for security.
Units are currently available in sizes from 9 to 22.5 square meters, with roof heights taller than other self-storage properties in the area, the source reported. The facility features two units with electric roll-up doors designed for handicap access.
Other site features include closed-circuit television, forklift unloading, gated access, a part-time manager and security-guard visits. The facility also sells moving and packing supplies.
