Self-Storage Builder Steel Storage Asia to Rebrand Under Janus International

Self-storage builder Steel Storage Asia Pty. Ltd. will operate as Janus International (Storage Solutions) Asia Pty Ltd. beginning on Jan. 1. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Janus International Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of building solutions and access-control technology for the self-storage industry. The rebranding is part of the companies’ 2020 acquisition agreement, according to a press release.

Steel Storage provides Janus products and services to the Asia market. Its regional hub will remain in Singapore, the release stated.

“We are delighted to cement our acquisition by Janus in the new year by adopting their brand identity,” said Jack Perrins, general manager of Steel Storage. “Janus International is a name synonymous with high quality and technological development throughout the global self-storage marketplace, and we look forward to driving new business throughout Asia under this impressive and well-known banner.”

Headquartered in Temple, Georgia, and founded in 2002, Janus is a global manufacturer and supplier of turnkey commercial, industrial and self-storage building solutions including roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, relocatable storage units, and facility- and door-automation technologies. The company operates out of several U.S. locations and six international offices.
