Traditional storage operators can offer the companys service and enjoy a percentage of the revenue, with no financial investment required. 1-800-PACK-RAT has already created alliances with the Security Self Storage chain of Raleigh, N.C., as well as other independent self-storage providers in Charlotte, N.C., Chicago, Greensboro, N.C., and Washington, D.C.
 
1-800-PACK-RATdelivers custom-made, weatherproof storage containers to customers homes or businesses. There they can be filled at the customers own pace before being picked up on demand and moved to a designated location or the companys warehouse. In addition, the containers can be used as temporary storage for renovation projects, home staging, construction or other applications.
 
Aligning with traditional self-storage companies seems like the natural thing to do, said company CEO Robert Poirier. Theres no reason we cant join forces to provide customers with the most extensive range of services possible.
