ASM Acquisition Partners, an affiliate of property-management firm Absolute Storage Management Inc., has purchased Storage Plus in Ponchatoula, La. The facility at 12134 LA-22 comprises 48,000 square feet of self-storage space. The site also includes several acres of land for expansion and will be rebranded as Ponchatoula Storage, according to a press release.

The business will serve the neighborhoods of Belle Foret, Emerald Gardens, Lakin Ridge and West Oaks. It offers climate-controlled units, document storage and package acceptance for customers.

“This is a well-located asset in a growing community with several acres of land for expansion. We plan to add both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled units next year,” said Michael Haugh, managing member of ASM.

Founded in 2002, Absolute Storage Management operates 116 self-storage properties in 14 states. Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., it has regional offices in Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; Jackson, Miss.; and Nashville, Tenn.
