Welcome to the industry, and thank-you for your interest in Inside Self-Storage (ISS)! We are a dynamic company providing a monthly magazine, two annual tradeshows, ongoing education programs, and a whole host of other resources/services for self-storage professionals.

Self-storage is a highly profitable business comprised of experts from all facets of real estate and management: development, construction, operations, security, technology and more. ISS Factbook: An A-Z guide to the self-storage industry. This 280-page encyclopedia covers all facets of the business, including finance, development, construction, marketing, legal issues, management, insurance, ancillary services and more. ISS Expo: ISS is renowned for hosting the industry’s most comprehensive tradeshows. Each February, we put on the largest self-storage event of the year in Las Vegas. Then we host a more intimate show in the summer. In 2007, we’ll be at the Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa in Reno-Tahoe, Nev., July 24-27. The 2008 Vegas Expo is slated for Feb. 5-8 at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino / Sands Expo & Convention Center. To learn about coming events, click HERE.

Developers’ Seminar: Looking to build a facility from scratch or break into self-storage with the purchase of an existing site? Not sure if self-storage is the venture for you? The ISS Developers’ Seminar is designed to assist newcomers to the industry, addressing issues of site selection, market research, construction and more. Management Workshop: An advanced seminar that teaches the intricacies of facility marketing, legalities, operations and profit-maximization, taught by industry heavyweight Joe Niemczyk. ISS Scholarship Program: Every year, ISS awards five $2,000 scholarships to deserving individuals to pursue higher education at an accredited college or university in any designated field.
