BayView Advisors (BVA), a Tampa-Fla.-based investment-sales and advisory firm focused on the self-storage industry, recently opened an office in Cleveland to serve the mid-Atlantic and midwest regions. The new office—the company’s second—will be headed by senior vice president Ryan N. Clark, who’s a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and holds an Ohio real estate license.

Prior to joining BVA, Clark represented commercial landlords, construction companies, insurance companies and real estate developers in litigation and transactional matters. He also has extensive business ownership and operational experience, according to a company press release.

"BayView Advisors has assembled an extraordinary team to offer clients deep expertise in many areas. We work cohesively to ensure sellers receive premium value for their property and buyers achieve their strategic acquisition goals. We are very excited to be able to better serve owners in the mid-Atlantic and midwest areas by having a local representative focused on these regions," said Jay J. Crotty, managing partner.

Launched earlier this year, BVA is a boutique firm specializing in self-storage acquisition, development, facility expansion and renovation, refinancing, and sales. The company includes Crotty as well as Thomas A. Doyle, senior vice president, and Joseph T. Brazill, senior associate.
