Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), a property-management and consulting firm serving the self-storage industry, has promoted Jason Carl to director of operations. His responsibilities will include setting policies and systems to ensure the achievement of portfolio goals, and maintaining an organizational structure that’s responsive and adaptive to business needs, according to a press release. He’ll also lead the company’s management arm, Investment Real Estate Management LLC.

Carl joined the company as a property manager. Most recently, he held the position of district manager. Carl has more than 13 years of self-storage industry experience. He’s been a speaker at national industry conferences, and he’s a member of the Self Storage Association and its Young Leaders Group. 

“Jason has been an integral member of our operations team for several years. We’re very excited to see him grow into this new role,” said Joe Braun, chief financial officer.

Since its inception in 1998, IRE has provided brokerage, construction, development and management services to self-storage owners and investors.
