Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), a property management and consulting firm specializing in the self-storage industry, has hired Jess Dubbs as an executive assistant to the companys president, John Gilliland. She will be responsible for the daily operations of the home office.

Dubbs brings more than 13 years of experience in design and marketing in the corporate and private sector. She also has knowledge in the print industry and digital-marketing arena. Most recently, she held a leadership role for an ad agency in Lancaster, Pa., where she managed a team of seven and directed company-wide production of more than 100 projects daily. She also owns and operates a freelance business focusing on graphic and multimedia design and photography.

Working for John has been great! IRE is an awesome companysuccessful, family focused, a leader in the industry, Dubbs said. Joining the team was a great decision for me.

Dubbs will also lead the marketing efforts for Investment Real Estate Group of Cos. (IREGC), including the self-storage facilities managed by Investment Real Estate Management LLC.

IRE expects moving all of its marketing in-house will improve company-wide marketing efforts, specifically in digital marketing, over the next year and beyond.

I am excited to help bring our companies to the forefront of digital marketing. There are so many avenues where I can advance our marketing efforts and utilize my knowledge and expertise to boost our return on investment, Dubbs said. The self-storage industry as a whole has not kept up with current marketing trends, specifically on the digital side of things. I plan to make sure that doesnt happen to us.

A rebranding effort for IREGC is underway, starting with the launch of a new logo and website for Moove In Self Storage facilities. A full rebranding strategy is under development and will begin to take shape later this year. IRE is also planning to revamp its website, which will include new photos of company personnel.

Founded in 1998, IRE provides self-storage brokerage, feasibility and construction services to owners and investors.
