The Richard D. Minker Co., a real estate brokerage firm based in Fort Worth, Texas, has changed its name to MINKERTrahant & Associates to reflect changes at the company.
 
Tyler Trahant, who began brokerage career at Richard D. Minker Co. and rejoined the firm approximately two years ago as managing director, is now a principal and the president of the renamed firm. He is poised to take over the business in a few years. Minker, who founded the firm 23 years ago, retains the title of chief executive and senior broker.
 
MINKERTrahant specializes in office and industrial tenant representation, project leasing and brokerage services. It is affiliated with the Argus Self Storage Network and provides self-storage brokerage in North Texas. The company will also offer brokerage services on a select basis in the area of land sales and retail.
