Marcus & Millichap, a commercial property-investment firm, announced the addition of Bruce Lynch and Lisa Loesel to The Gorman Group, a team of self-storage investment advisors based in the company’s Atlanta office. Both brokers live in and will focus on facility sales in the Carolinas, expanding the group’s reach, according to a company press release.

“We are doing a great deal of business in the Carolinas,” said Stacey Gorman, first vice president of investments and leader of The Gorman Group. “Adding Lisa and Bruce to our team gives us an even stronger presence in the Carolinas.”

Lynch, an associate in the Raleigh, N.C. office, has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He holds a real estate license in North and South Carolina as well as Virginia.

Loesel is an associate in the Charleston, S.C., office. She has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience and specializes in storage properties along the coast.

Last year, The Gorman Group closed 27 transactions totaling nearly $75 million, the release stated.

Founded in 1971, Marcus & Millichap has more than 1,500 investment professionals in offices throughout Canada and the United States. The firm closed more than 8,700 transactions in 2015 with a value of approximately $37.8 billion.
