American Buildings Co. (ABC), a Eufaula, Ala.-based manufacturer of metal building systems for self-storage and other industries, hired Paul Teater as its new national accounts manager. A resident of Arlington, Wash., Teater will primarily focus his efforts in the western United States and Canada, working with existing clients and growing new ABC accounts.

Teater has more than 25 years of experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry in areas of strategic alliance, complex sales and management. He has a bachelors of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri.

This new position gives me the opportunity to use my background in sales and management to help ABC expand its business and continue to best serve our customers, Teater said.

ABC has designed, manufactured and delivered metal buildings and roofing systems for more than 50 years. The company has engineering and manufacturing centers nationwide and a network of more than 900 authorized builders. ABC, a NUCOR company, produces industrial and commercial structures as well as tailored projects for a variety of industries including self-storage, automotive, retail and transportation.
