Florida Self Storage Association Hosts Free Marketing Webinar Nov. 15 for Members

The Florida Self Storage Association (FSSA) will present a free webinar for members on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. ET.

The webinar, Innovative and Online Marketing for Single or Multi-Store Operators, will be presented by Danielle Toms and Michael Hopper of Mindful Management LLC. FSSA Executive Director Robert Bret will be the moderator.

Attendees will learn how to evaluate their search-engine optimization strategies, pay-per-click campaigns and Google analytics. Other topics include:

  • Marketing activities that yield instant rentals and appointments

  • Knowing the right questions to ask

  • Information to seek

  • The importance of knowing your online marketing business

  • Why you need to maintain the footwork

Toms is vice president of business development for Mindful Management, a Florida-based organization that owns and manages self-storage facilities throughout the state. Using her extensive sales and marketing experience, Toms develops innovative marketing strategies for the company's portfolio and maintains grassroots efforts. She currently serves as an alternate board member for the FSSA.

 As vice president of operations for Mindful Management, Hopper oversees the daily operation of the company's 10 south-region facilities. He also assists in developing new marketing tools and strategies. Hopper has more than 20 years of regional management experience with emphasis in the restaurant industry.

The FSSA is a non-profit organization of businesspeople involved in the self-storage industry in Florida. Its members include facility owners, operators, vendors, developers, investors, property managers and suppliers.
