Providing educational opportunities for self-storage and beyond
Inside Self-Storage magazine, published by Phoenix-based Virgo Publishing,
is proud to announce the Scholarship Program for 2007, which will provide five
$2,000 educational scholarships for deserving individuals. Winners will be announced
at the Inside Self-Storage Las Vegas Expo in February 2008. Proof of a minimum
one-year affiliation with the industry is required. Applications will be accepted
through Nov. 1, 2007. For additional information, e-mail tlanza@vpico.com.
Scholarship Application Guidelines
1. Applicants must be at least 17 years old to qualify.
2. Eligible applicants are those planning to attend college or university during
either semester in 2008.
3. Applicants must be currently employed in the self-storage industry or have
immediate family members employed in the industry. Proof of at least a one-year
affiliation with self-storage is required for the scholarship application to be
considered valid. Proof of affiliation should be submitted with a completed
application. Credentials such as pay stubs, W-2 forms and/or a signed letter
from the employer on company letterhead will serve as valid confirmation.
APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE OR VALID UNTIL VERIFICATION OF
AFFILIATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Please do not send original financial documents,
as these items will not be returned.
4. Applications must be completed and received by the Inside Self-Storage Scholarship
committee NO LATER than Nov. 1, 2007. Applications sent via U.S. post will be
dated according to postmark. Applications submitted via fax will be dated according
to the time stamp. Applications sent via e-mail will be dated according to the
date of the message.
5. Materials may be submitted via fax to 480.281.6038. Submissions by e-mail
can be sent to tlanza@vpico.com.

P.O. Box 40079, Phoenix, AZ 85067-0079.
6. Only one entry per family will be accepted. Family members of affiliates
of Inside Self-Storage, and Virgo Publishing, are not eligible.
7. The Inside Self-Storage Scholarship Committee will select winners by Dec.
31, 2007. All scholarship winners will be notified in writing by Jan. 30, 2008. No
phone calls please.
8. Scholarship checks will be made jointly payable to the student and his or
her college or university.
