Extra Space Storage Inc. announced the company's board of directors has declared quarterly dividends of $0.10 per share per quarter on the common stock of the company for the third and fourth quarters of 2010. The $0.10 dividend for the third quarter is payable on Sept. 30, 2010 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 15, 2010. The $0.10 dividend for the fourth quarter is payable on Dec. 31, 2010 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 10, 2010.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Extra Space owns or operates 789 self-storage properties in 33 states and Washington, D.C. The companys properties comprise approximately 510,000 units and more than 57 million square feet of rentable space.
