Valley Storage Co., which operates 16 self-storage facilities in five eastern states, has acquired three Best Little Warehouse Self-Storage facilities in Elyria and Grafton, Ohio. Together, the sites comprise 110,480 square feet of storage space in 727 units, according to a press release.

The properties at 11360 Avon Belden Road and 36200 Royalton Road in Grafton will be operated from the facility at 40908 Butternut Ridge Road in Elyria. All three will be managed by Storage Asset Management Inc., a York, Pa., property-management and consulting company.

Valley plans to add new signage to the sites and update the property websites to include online reservations and billpay capabilities, the release stated. “We are looking forward to being able to serve North Ohio with even more locations and continuing our high standard of customer service,” said Todd Snook, who owns Valley Storage with his wife, Tina.

Earlier this year, Valley acquired Fields Store-All Ltd. in North Ridge, Ohio. The property at 34425 Lorain Road contains 269 drive-up storage units.

Based in Hagerstown, Md., Valley opened its first self-storage location in Williamsport, Md., in 1986. It currently owns more than 1 million square feet of storage space in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

Founded in 2006, Best Little Warehouse now operates a single facility in Wakeman, Ohio.
