Jupiter Commercial Properties Seeks to Build Self-Storage Facility in Jupiter, FL

Jupiter Commercial Properties is seeking zoning approval to redevelop an 11.5-acre property it owns in Jupiter, Fla., as self-storage. The town council will consider the application and land-use amendment today for Central Park Storage at 114 Datura St., according to the source.

The plans include demolishing six buildings on the property’s eastern portion. Built in 1986, the structures comprise 111,601 square feet. Four buildings encompassing 159,430 square feet of space will be constructed in their place. They’ll mostly include self-storage units but also feature 13,500 square feet of industrial space. The tallest building will be three stories, the source reported.

Cotleur & Hearing, a South Florida land-planning and design firm, is representing the developer in the zoning request. The project will be designed by REG Architects Inc. of West Palm Beach, Fla.
