NitNeil Partners Develops New Self-Storage Facility in Tampa, FL, Second in City

NitNeil Partners, an Atlanta-based investment firm specializing in self-storage, is developing a facility in Tampa, Fla., it’s second in the city. The 2-acre site at 5400 S. Westshore Blvd. currently houses an Ancient Art Antiques warehouse. NitNeil plans to redevelop the entire parcel as well as a 1-acre retail outparcel into a three-story, 90,000-square-foot self-storage facility. The groundbreaking is scheduled for early next year, with a target completion date of late 2017, according to a press release.

The project is the company’s second storage development in the Tampa Metropolitan Statistical Area. A 67,000-square-foot facility in the North Hyde Park neighborhood is expected to open in early 2017. Both properties will be managed by Extra Space Storage, a self-storage real estate investment trust.

NitNeil Partners is a regional investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate, including self-storage. The company’s self-storage portfolio comprises more than 1 million square feet and a development pipeline of about 500,000 square feet in eight states, the release stated.
