Budget Self Storage Opens in Sarasota, FL, Collects Donations for Charity

Budget Self Storage is celebrating the opening of its newest self-storage facility in Sarasota, Fla., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and donation drive on Sept. 22. The event at 4515 S. Tamiami Trail, 4-6 p.m., will be co-hosted by the Sarasota and Siesta Key Chambers of Commerce. Facility tours, door prizes and refreshments will be provided.

During and following the opening, Budget will collect donations of peanut butter and new crockpots to benefit the Junior League of Sarasota Inc., a nonprofit that provides food and resources to families. Representatives from the organization will also be in attendance.

The new three-story facility comprises more than 73,000 square feet of space in 640 climate-controlled units. Property features include access-controlled entry, covered loading areas and video cameras. The facility offers customers extended access hours, free Wi-Fi and package acceptance. Garrett Byrd is the property manager.

Founded in 1985, Budget Self Storage is locally owned and operates seven facilities in Florida, including three in Sarasota. In addition to self-storage, its properties offer document shredding, electronic recycling, and moving and packing supplies.
