Global Self Storage to Present at 2016 Gateway Conference

Real estate investment trust (REIT) Global Self Storage Inc. will discuss the company’s operating performance during the 2016 Gateway Conference, Sept. 7-8, at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. The investor conference is designed to bring together “compelling” companies with institutional investors and analysts, according to the event website. It’s produced by Liolios Group Inc., which specializes in capital-markets consulting, corporate communications, and investor outreach and analytics.

Mark C. Winmill, president and CEO of Global, will speak at 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 8, followed by one-on-one meetings throughout the day, according to a press release. A live webcast of the presentation will be available on the investor-relations page of the Global website as well as the conference website.

The event is expected to draw more than 80 “small and micro-cap” companies and approximately 300 investors. Other presenting companies represent industries such as business services, digital media, financial services, life sciences and technology. Participants include Boingo, Elio Motors, Gaia, Jones Soda Co. and Ooma, according to the event website.

Founded in 1983, Global Self Storage is a self-administered and -managed REIT focused on the acquisition, development and ownership of self-storage facilities in the United States. The company owns seven storage properties through its wholly owned subsidiaries in Illinois, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. It changed its name from Self Storage Group Inc. in January.
