My Self Storage in Gonzalez, LA, Holds Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

My Self Storage, a new facility that recently opened in Gonzalez, La., celebrated its grand opening by hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 25. Facility owners Al and Joel Robert and manager Fay Smithhart were joined at the event by family and friends. City officials and chamber ambassadors also attended, including mayor Barney Arceneaux, council member Neil Bourque, council member David Guitreau, ascension chamber of commerce CEO and president Sherrie Despino, and ascension parish assessor Mert Smiley.

The facility at 1603 N. Airline Highway is on the corner of Burnside Avenue. It comprises 63,000 square feet of storage space in more than 400 climate-controlled units. The business is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Property amenities include an 18-wheeler loading dock, keypad entry and video cameras. The site also offers online billpay, moving and packing supplies, and free use of the facility moving truck for new rentals.
