Ed Jewett and Mark Phillips have acquired Epping Self Storage Place in Epping, N.H., from The Cloutier Family. The property at 276 Calef Highway has been rebranded as The Storage Barn of Epping.

The facility has been expanded over the last few years as demand for storage in the area has increased, according to the source. It currently offers 40,000 square feet of storage space. The new owners plan to add two more buildings comprising 12,000 square feet. The structures are expected to be completed by June 1.

The facility will be managed by Kellie Jewett, Jess Smith and Tim Wallace. Smith has more than 20 years of experience managing self-storage facilities as well as real estate management with Windsor Brook Property Advisors. Jewett and Wallace are owners of J Management, a property-management company that oversees operation for mobile-home parks and retail in Maine, multi-family residences and office buildings in New Hampshire, and Jewett Commercial Industrial Park in Dover, N.H.

Jewett and Phillips have additional self-storage projects under development in South New Hampshire. Phillips is also constructing The Storage Barn of Dover, which will include 170,000 square feet of storage space.
