CallPotential Releases SmartKiosk for Self-Storage Operations

CallPotential, a provider of lead-management and do-it-yourself call-center solutions for self-storage operations, has released SmartKiosk, an all-weather kiosk that allows customers to rent units and make payments. The touchscreen kiosk includes a built-in e-Sign feature as well as an ID Scanner intended to eliminate potential data-entry errors. Users can also access an interactive unit-size guide. The kiosk integrates with most self-storage management software, according to a company press release.     

"As an operator, I saw a demand for an intuitive kiosk that could help my manager in [his] day-to-day activities and be a self-service station after hours,” said company owner Phil Murphy. “We are thrilled to empower our customers to free up their managers and enhance customer experience while staying within budget with SmartKiosk."

The kiosk is being marketed as a budget-friendly solution ”that saves employee time and increases around-the-clock sales while ensuring lease compliance.” CallPotential unveiled its new offering at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas, where it hired Batman and Wonder Woman look-alikes to promote the tool to attendees.

CallPotential also offers patent-pending call-center technology that automates and enhances the sales process for self-storage facility managers. Its software handles lead management, automated follow-up, and call recording and monitoring.
