England Self-Storage Operator Stock N Lock Wins Best UK Facility of the Year Award

Stock N Lock Self Storage of Worcester, England, won the award for the “Best UK Facility of the Year” from the Self Storage Association of the United Kingdom (SSAUK). It now qualifies for the Pan European finals, which will be held during the 2015 European Self Storage Conference, Oct. 6-7, in Amsterdam. Stor N Lock Managing Director Charles Rodway and business manager Anne Hutson accepted the trophy on behalf of the company from SSAUK President Rennie Schafer during an award dinner at the Hotel du Vin & Bistro in Birmingham, England.

“It’s fabulous to win this award. It’s not just about having a successful business model and a great building, but it’s also judged on how our customers have rated our performance and the service we’ve provided over the year. So, yes, we’re very happy!” Houston said.

"To be recognized by industry ‘greats,’ such as Big Yellow [Self Storage] and SafeStore, is really quite humbling. I simply can’t praise the team enough. They are what sets us apart from the rest,” Rodway said.

Stock N Lock has approximately 680 units ranging from 10 to 300 square feet, and offers bulk and archival storage services in addition to traditional self-storage. Facility amenities include free WiFi, a conferencing suite, reception-area refreshments, and the sale of moving and packing supplies.
