Vending-machine manufacturer All Brands Vending Resources Inc. has released the “Storage Supply Depot,” a vending machine designed to sell packing supplies and other retail products to self-storage customers. The machine is constructed to withstand bad weather and vandalism, according to the source. It’s also energy-efficient and compliant with Americans With Disabilities Act standards.

“We are excited to provide self-storage facilities and their owners with a new profit center,” said Bill Fankell, sales manager for All Brands. “The Storage Supply Depot will allow self-storage owners to maximize their packing-supply sales in a cost-efficient manner.”

The machine is capable of dispensing locks, storage bags, tape and other supplies. It’s equipped with dual-temperature zones and includes a refrigerated area for cold drinks. Customers can pay with Apple Pay and Google Wallet in addition to cash and credit/debit cards, according to Vending.com. Other features include a programmable LED display for customized messaging, and a standard alarm that sounds when the machine is tipped or opened without authorization. It comes with a free bolt-down kit.

The company is offering a promotional “starter kit” for self-storage operators that includes “best-selling packaging products,” the source reported.

All Brands is a partner of the Storage Business Owners Alliance LLC, a buying group for the U.S. self-storage industry. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, the company has been in business for 84 years. It specializes in traditional snack and soda vending equipment and custom machines targeting niche markets, offering factory-direct warranties, financing, and parts and service.
