Castle Self-Storage, which currently operates three facilities in Braintree, South Boston and Weymouth, Mass., is building a second facility in Weymouth. The three-story facility will comprise 66,000 square feet of storage space in drive-up and exterior units. It will also incorporate energy-management components such as LED lighting and environmentally controlled air-conditioning and heating, the source reported. The project is expected to be complete this fall.

The general contractor on the project is North Quincy, Mass.-based Ocean Builders Inc., which collaborated with Castle on its three existing facilities, according to the source. Architectural firm Roth & Seelen Inc. will design the project.

Castle Self Storage facilities are open 24/7. They feature climate control, electronic gate access, 24-hour video monitoring and more. The company offers free package acceptance for commercial customers.
