French Self-Storage Operator Homebox Partners With Buro Club

French self-storage operator Homebox has partnered with Buro Club, a France-based office-solutions provider, to place office workspace, meeting venues and virtual-office solutions at Homebox storage facilities. The first “Relais Buro Club” (Buro Club Relay) is expected to open at the storage company’s Charles de Gaulle Airport facility in Paris this spring, according to a press release.

The installments will provide Buro Club and Homebox customers access to computer-docking stations, drop-in workspaces, meeting rooms and fully equipped offices in suburban areas. The concept will be targeted at local companies, larger corporate accounts and mobile workers. The strategy is designed to provide professional and social benefits, including shorter commute times for employees, according to Frédéric Dathy, CEO of Buro Club.

“This strategic partnership with Homebox confirms our strategy to provide our clients and mobile workers a strong network of flexible working hubs in France and in Europe,” he said.

“We are delighted to be forming this partnership,” added David Varet, managing director of Homebox. “It will improve our service and breadth of products. Our clients are looking for flexible workspaces, and the Relais Buro Club in Homebox centers will answer their needs.”

Buro Club operates 32 business centers in Algeria, France and French territories, including French Guiana, Guadeloupe and Martinique. Founded in 1992, the company provides more than 30,000 square meters of office space, 1,200 fully serviced offices and 110 meeting rooms.

Founded in 1996, Homebox operates 70 self-storage facilities in France.
