Portable-Storage Provider TK Markets Changes Name to BOS Container USA

TK Markets Inc., a New York-based management company with a subsidiary in Finland, has changed its name to BOS Container USA to better reflect its partnership with BOS (Best Of Steel) GmbH, a Germany-based producer of portable steel storage containers, company officials announced in a press release. It also formed a new company called TK Markets Finland Oy to market BOS GmbH products in Scandinavia.

After teaming with TK Markets in 2011 to introduce its products to the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish markets, BOS GmbH expanded the partnership in 2013 to launch its product line in the United States. The company featured its quick-build containers at regional and national tradeshows in multiple industries, including an appearance at the 2014 Inside Self-Storage World Expo.

“With the name change comes the expansion of target markets both in geography and vertical expansion,” BOS USA officials said in the release. “The quick-build container, the primary product represented, is now offered in the USA and Canada to construction companies, building-supply companies, oil and gas exploration, disaster relief and first response, as well as for portable and self-storage companies.”

BOS USA also announced partnerships with self-storage consultant Jon Wyles, owner of Canada-based consultancy Harrington Wyles Ltd., and portable-storage finance company Box Credit LLC.

Since bringing its partnership with BOS GmbH to the U.S., BOS USA has signed dealership agreements in Texas and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The company also has representatives in Alaska, Colorado, New York and Ohio.

Launched in 1967, BOS GmbH manufactures a range of steel products including door and window frames, material containers and quick-build warehouses. Its quick-build containers travel flat-packed and can be assembled easily without tools in just minutes, according to a press release. The containers come in six sizes and can be accompanied with numerous accessories, including an electric package that includes an electric outlet and light, an access ramp, shelving systems, and racks to support tools, clothing, etc. They also come in a variety of colors.
