Motorists Mutual Insurance, a regional property and casualty insurer, has introduced a protection plan for self-storage facility owners. The new product features actual loss sustained business-income coverage; customer property legal liability; coverage for facility signs, fences and landscaping; and sale and disposal liability.

Motorists Mutual is represented by more than 4,500 independent agents in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It is part of the Motorists Insurance Group, a Columbus, Ohio-based organization consisting of 10 property and casualty insurance, life insurance and insurance brokerage companies.
