Coyotes Den Self Storage Sponsors 5K Race in West Springfield, MA

Coyotes Den Self Storage is sponsoring the Taste of the Valley 5K race this Sunday in West Springfield, Mass. The event begins at 10 a.m. and will be held in conjunction with West Sides Taste of the Valley, sponsored by Chicopee Savings Bank, town officials and the Rotary Club of West Springfield.

The Taste is an annual weekend gathering on the Park Street Town Common. It draws more than 40,000 people to sample food from local restaurants. This years event also includes a show by folk-rock singer Jonathan Edwards and additional performers.

All proceeds from the 5K will be donated to the One Fund Boston, established by Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino to help those affected by the recent bombings at the Boston Marathon.

Open since 1997, Coyotes Den Self Storage has 14 buildings with 375 storage units covering more than 64,000 square feet. The facility also offers 30 to 35 outdoor parking spaces. Named for the family of coyotes that lived nearby during construction, the facility was featured in a 2010 TV commercial depicting self-storage auction buyers clamoring for a unit that held a bag of Doritos.
