USstoragesearch.com, a shopping and comparison website for self-storage facilities, has added to its list of offerings a new Gold Storage Marketing Package, which includes a turnkey website solution for owners of self-storage real estate. In development for the past two years, the new Gold Package simplifies and streamlines a self-storage operator's online marketing efforts and includes reporting tools to facilitate the tracking of marketing investments, according to a press release.
The Gold Storage Marketing Package includes all the services included in the company's Bronze and Silver Packages as well as a transactional, standalone website that allows self-storage customers to reserve storage units online using a credit card. The Bronze Package includes the company's traditional premium membership. The Silver Package includes the premium network membership the company has been offering since 2011.
Storage operators using a property-management system can integrate their unit inventory into the USstoragesearch.com website solution in real time, according to company founder Michael Kucera, who has a 40-year background in commercial real estate. Those facilities that do not use property-management software also have the ability to list any units they want to rent.
The new website solution can be used by self-storage facilities that do not currently have a website. It can also be used as a supplemental website for operators that already have their own site.
USstoragesearch.com was launched in 2004 as a shopping and comparison website for self-storage customers. In 2006, it was expanded to include industry call-center services, with a call center in Omaha, Neb., and a pay-per-reservation pricing structure. In 2011, the company launched its self-storage network of websites, which broadcasts member facility listings across thousands of storage, moving and local search directories. The USstoragesearch.com database features more than 18,000 storage locations throughout the United States.
