Storage Business Owners Alliance Announces Promotions and New Hires

The Storage Business Owners Alliance LLC (SBOA), a buying group for the self-storage industry, has made several staff changes, including a promotion and several new hires.

Theresa Gallas has been promoted from director of member-vendor relations to vice president of sales and marketing. The company also named Stacey Rolf as director of member services and hired Jessica Hill as marketing associate.

The SBOA Tenant Insurance program, an affiliate of the SBOA, hired Paul Reickart as the sales professional for the Northeast. Reickart has extensive experience in insurance sales and has spent five years working as a self-storage district manager for Investment Real Estate LLC. He will focus his efforts on demonstrating the competitive advantages of the company's tenant-insurance program for storage owners, operators and tenants.

The SBOA is a cooperative organization that enables smaller self-storage businesses to enjoy the benefits of bulk buying power. The group has grown to include nearly 3,000 member facilities. Members pay an annual membership fee to save on items such as packing and moving supplies, marketing services, payroll services, UPS shipping and more.
