Storage Post Self Storage Hires Company Controller

Storage Post Self Storage recently hired a corporate controller at the company headquarters in Atlanta. Ned Wolfe joined the Storage Post team on Nov. 1. He’ll be responsible for managing daily accounting functions including financial reporting and communicating financial information with owners and investors.

Wolfe was selected to head the Storage Post accounting team due to his extensive experience in public and private industry accounting. He has more than 20 years of experience serving as a controller or chief financial officer of domestic and international private enterprises. He also has specific knowledge of the manufacturing, architecture and retail franchising industries, which will assist him as he transitions into the self-storage industry.

"We are a growing company looking to add properties to our current portfolio, which means we needed someone who could handle a swift financial management setting with growing assets," said chief operating officer Jack Chaney. "We knew we had found the right person for the job when we met Ned Wolfe and learned of his familiarity with financial analysis and reporting within privately owned businesses."

Prior to joining the Storage Post team, Wolfe worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for seven years, as well as for private companies including the Great American Cookie Co. and Rosser International. He received his bachelor’s degree at Auburn University in Alabama and graduated with the highest honors. He’s a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Storage Post has 22 locations throughout Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey and New York. The company is actively pursuing self-storage acquisitions.
