Software Provider E-SoftSys Releases New Versions of Self Storage Manager and e-CRM

E-SoftSys, a provider of self-storage management software, has released new versions of its Self Storage Manager program and e-CRM, a customer-relationship-management module. The releases contain more than 70 new features between them, including many that were developed based on user feedback, company officials said.

We work with our customers on a uniquely collaborative approach to improve our software products, said Kat Shenoy, president and CEO. With a large team of software engineers working on our software products, we are able to develop product enhancements and new interfaces to third-party applications at a rapid pace.

New features to Self Storage Manager 3.2 include an enhanced rent-raise function with additional filters and the ability to cancel a pending rent increase. Users can now search anywhere in the search text while pulling up a customer account, and they have the ability to block online access for specific tenants if desired. The new version also enables users to vary the discount period and value at the time of rental. Unit-potential and annual-summary report capability have also been added. In addition, a mobile-website module with the ability to create a mobile website with store-locator, online-reservation, rental and payment features is now included.

New features to e-CRM version 3.2 include the ability to use short message service (SMS) to customers for payment, inquiry and reservation functions. Operators can view or schedule move-outs for a specific date range, and call-center agents can set up or cancel Schedule Move-Out from the module. A new drip-campaign function provides operators with the ability to set up various stages of automated follow-up actions, such as sending e-mails and pop-up alerts, to customers and store managers for inquiries and reservations. There is also a new Ad Source report that shows the cost per lead and cost per rental for each advertising or marketing source, either captured automatically from the phone system or entered manually.
