Gayla Bartlett, manager of Cranney Self Storage, was recognized as one of the top 25 up-and-coming women leaders in the Kiwanis district. Bartlett is also the incoming vice president of Danvers Kiwanis and the incoming president of the North Shore Women in Business.

Massachusetts Self-Storage Manager Honored at Kiwanis Convention

A self-storage manager in Danvers, Mass., was recently honored at the Kiwanis New England and Bermuda district convention in Leominster, Mass. Gayla Bartlett, manager of Cranney Self Storage, was recognized as one of the top 25 up-and-coming women leaders in the Kiwanis district. Bartlett is also the incoming vice president of Danvers Kiwanis and the incoming president of the North Shore Women in Business.

In addition to being recognized, Bartlett presented a workshop on 25 years of women in Kiwanis.

Founded in 1915, Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers in more than 80 countries and geographic areas. The organization has 600,000 members worldwide. This year the group is celebrating the 25th year that women have been allowed as members.

Cranney Self Storage Inc. of Danvers, Mass., has been in operation for more than 12 years and is part of the Cranny Cos., which includes the self-storage business and Cranney Home Services. The parent company provides HVAC, plumbing and electrical services. Owner Brian Cranney has been a business owner in the Danvers community for more than 30 years.
