San Diego Self Storage Launches 'Bottles for Babies' Campaign

Seventeen San Diego Self Storage (SDSS) facilities are launching the inaugural Bottles for Babies collection campaign in honor of military veterans. The effort runs from May 25 to June 30. Facility staff will collect baby bottles or $5-20 donations to purchase baby bottles through the non-profit organization MOM4USA, a nonprofit that provides baby-care packages to first-time, active-duty military families.

"SDSS is proud to sponsor this collection, which is being launched during Memorial Day weekend to not only commemorate our fallen military heroes from the U.S. Armed Forces, but also to celebrate a new generation of military babies," Steven Teixeira, SDSS director of property management, told the source. "We discovered through MOM4USA that families are in need of basic necessities, so we decided to support that cause through this campaign, which we hope to make an annual event.

Donations can be made at facilities or online at SanDiegoSelfStorage.com through a secure PayPal connection.

Founded in 1972, SDSS provides self-storage in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. The company is locally owned and operated.
