A former state data center in Sacramento, Calif., has been converted into a self-storage facility.
East Sac Self Storage opened this week. The facility, developed by Potter-Taylor & Co., features 5,027 climate-controlled self-storage units. It is the company’s first self-storage development in seven years.
Although primarily known for building shopping centers, Potter-Taylor & Co. also built Elk Grove Self Storage in Elk Grove, Calif., and Marconi Self Storage in Sacramento. The company plans to convert a former AT&T building in Sacramento into a self-storage facility.
